Instytut Badań Rynku Motoryzacyjnego Samar poinformował, że od początku 2020 roku import używanych samochodów osobowych i dostawczych do 3,5 tony wyniósł 541 866 sztuk, czyli o 20,6%. mniej niż przed rokiem. Jak będzie dobrze widać na podstawie dalszych danych – mimo tak dużych spadków import odradza się znacznie szybciej niż sprzedaż nowych samochodów.

We are presenting the current data on growth of fleet of motor vehicles in Poland in the past few months. Below, on the basis of data from IBRM Samar, we are summarizing the changes in import of used cars and registrations of new cars in August 2020, and cumulatively presenting the situation from the beginning of the year.

Automotive Market Research Institute Samar informed that starting from the beginning of 2020 import of used passenger cars and commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tons amounted to 541,866 pieces, meaning a decrease by 20.6% compared to a year before. As we can notice from featured data - despite such falls, the import of used cars is recovering much faster than sales of new vehicles.
